Android · Chore & home tracker
Sinceby keeps one honest record of how long since each thing in your home was last done — the plant, the water filter, the litter, the sheets, the car. Tap it, and it resets to now.
Works in the browser too — nothing to install, and no account at all if you do not want one. No analytics, no ads, no trackers.
There is nothing to set up before Sinceby is useful. Add a thing, and it starts counting. Every row tells you how long it has been, in the words you would use out loud: 3d, 2w, 4mo.
Three sections, always in the same order: overdue, coming up, and everything with no target. Whatever you have neglected longest sits on top; the rest waits quietly.
Tap a row to mark it done right now. A short "Done · Undo" bar catches the slipped thumb. Long-press to change the name, emoji, target or group — or delete it.
Give a chore a gentle "about every 14 days" and its bar warms from stone through honey to gold. Overdue deepens toward gold and stops there — there is no red alarm state, in light mode or dark.
Kitchen, Plants, Car, Bathroom. Filter chips narrow the list without reordering it. Groups are for things, never for people.
Bring a Streakless backup or CSV export straight across. A dry run shows exactly what will be added and what will be skipped, and nothing is written until you say so.
Back everything up as one JSON file you keep, export your history as CSV for a spreadsheet, and restore it on a new phone. None of it is behind a paywall.
Real screenshots from the app, not mock-ups.
Nearly every chore app has decided the problem is motivation, so it hands out points, badges, weekly winners and leaderboards. Sinceby's premise is that the problem is information. You do not need to be motivated to change a water filter. You need to know when it was last changed.
The honest reason: competition between people who live together is the thing they are trying to get away from. It is not the thing they are missing.
Keeping score turns a shared list into an argument with a receipt attached. So Sinceby does not keep score — and this is not a feature left for a later version. It is the product.
Private by design
Signed out, everything stays in a database on your phone and nothing is sent anywhere. Sign in and your chores sync so the people you live with see the same list — and only they can. The privacy policy says exactly what is stored, where, and how to have it deleted.
If a job has a date, it belongs in your calendar. If it only needs doing every once in a while, it belongs here.
Vacuuming, bed sheets, the shower drain, windows, the fridge, descaling the kettle.
Which houseplant was watered when. Litter tray, flea treatment, tank water, claws, vet visits.
Water filter, AC and air filters, smoke alarm batteries, oil, tyre pressure, the car wash.
